Wearing a hood?

Wearing a hood? was created by
My Principal has allow Christians to wear crucifixes, Muslims to wear turbans and certain African tribal decedents to braid their hair, he allows this because an elder from each religion said that it was necessary. Is wearing a hood part of this order?

That's a different organization that had the hood thing. I'm not sure if they still go by that or not. You should be able to find them in the references links in the Wikipedia article on Jediism.
If you're interested in this as a sort of protest why settle for an ordinary hood? Anybody can do that. How about something really striking?
I'd be tempted to sign a note saying you're a member of the Holy League of the Fruit Hat. You'd have to promise to only use real edible fruits and that you'd freely share. You might be left with an empty hat at the end of the day but it's the right thing to do.

Christians wearing crosses/crucifixes...
Muslims wearing turbans...
Africans wearing braids...
Then, you ask about hoods....
Are you wanting to wear a hood?
Or not wanting to wear a hood?
The belief isn't in the object, but rather, in the person...
You stick a true believer in a prison, and take away their "tools", they should remain devout....
Rather than posting an "note" here, gir you to print, and be accused of faking a letter....
Send me his email in a private message, and I will send him an email stating as i have up above... That this Order does not require it...
However, if you are looking for someone to day it is a requirement, you'll have to check in at a different site... There are some organizations that do require it I imagine...
Good luck, let me know...

Jedi don't wear hoods. Not even outside when it rains. Make a point by wearing a fruit hat.
I am concerned however by the need for a religion or some other form of cultural authorization thing to braid one's hair.

I wear a Hood when it's cold or raining, but I don't any other time, people get the wrong idea and think I'm some sort of thug just because I wear a Hood -_-

I wear a hood when meditating, and I guess I wore it durring Akkarin's knighting ceremony. How cultish would that be if it were mandatory?! Lol

I wear a hood when I haven't done my hair properly and I don't want people to see me looking like a bum.
