that's not true, unless it is a harmful cult... The truth is, continentals don't take religion seriously, the majority of people who still identify as christian don't believe in god... The most religious groups are muslim, jewish and jeovah's witness, the others just see religion as something they are forced to tolerate by law but see more as harmful than anything else.

Maybe you should inform yourself Ren. The Queen is the head of State and of the Church. Prominent Bishops are members of the House of Lords who also pass laws. My company insists on Baptism as a ondition of employment. Germanies most prominent political part is the Christian Democratic Union and the Christian Social Union. Just to name a few things. For more extreme examples please read up on Ireland for example. So it is very much true.

The author of the TOTJO simple and solemn oath, the liturgy book, holy days, the FAQ and the Canon Law. Ordinant of GM Mark and Master Jestor.

Many years ago my Zen Master Esther told me to love my enemy. So I obeyed her and loved myself.

The only country in europe to have a state religion is the UK... and it's not on the continent. Then there's also the vatican, but that's not really a country. I don't know what company you work for but my guess would be that it'd be illegal here, after all christian charities have to employ homosexuals nowadays. Germany's CDU is the german party that always brings reforms. Merkel herself is christian (religious family), but it isn't as if her calls for a mention of europe's christian heritage on the constitution had not met some tough resistance.

The Queen is the head of State and of the Church.

The queen lives like a queen on taxpayer's money, and the taxpayer doesn't like it at all. The queen is an unelected and thankfully useless head of state, the house of lords isn't exactly a good example of democracy at work. Because there is an anciant system at work doesn't mean people like it. The same goes for religion. This reinforces my argument that it is something that people are forced to tolerate by law, but in fact do not approve of it.

You cant base your facts on census results either. jediism is a good example in the UK. I don't know where you live but I live in the UK, from the continent, I've been around europe too... I can garantee you that under no circumstances do 70% of the british population believe in a god. No way. Yet, that's what the census claims... And that's why there are bishops in the house of lords. Rubbish statistics.

Do not underestimate the island mentality you get in britain or Ireland either.... You say look at Ireland, I say look at Portugal... They've got gay marriage. There is no mention of god on the euro... not even on the vatican coins. Now go compare that with the US, which have always had an official separation of church and state.

Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.

I just noticed something or rather the lack of something. With allegedly 16,000 members of the Church of Jediism Ltd or the Church of Jediism Members Association (whatever) we've not received a single post or even an email of protest from anyone other than Baral Forbe.

You can't google them up without seeing our notice and this topic is public so where's the outcry of folks defending the Holyhead boys?

The Holyhead Church of Jediism Fake Church Fraud link is on our public Main Menu too.

We all know they do not have 16,000 members but I was willing to believe 16 or so.

Hmmmmmmmmm. Interesting.

Very interesting.

Maybe their members only speak Mando and not basic.....

Maybe they got 15'998 ewoks as members......

Maybe our Force push level isnt high enough.....

Maybe our saber blades are the wrong colour.....

Maybe navicomupters dont detect our system......

Maybe imaginary friends?

Who knows - personally Im not too sure this is a priority, we have our own order to worry about in all honesty, I feel Ive invested enough time and effort
them for this year - Maybe next year i'll take an interest :D

There we go again with the childish behaviour. Gentlemen act like adults please. As for how many members there are within the church, does it really matter. Though Daniel has asked if I would meet with five of their members in my area. That a few more than at the Temple. I would be pleased if any members of the Temple in the Lincolnshire area would like to meet up. Any Takers.
