Kind or nice, it's all good. I don't want to get hung up on definitions. Karma is a different thread if you want to start one.

I spent 8 hours sitting next to my wife while she got her Chemotherapy for breast cancer. It wasn't a random act. Kind? Nice? Love for sure. I think all this falls into the same category.

One of my boss's birthdays was yesterday, so I baked him a cake yesterday and brought it in to work for him today! Not only was it fun for me and my girlfriend (we also had cake) but I think the gesture will make him really happy. :)
