Who in this world is so lazy or so proud that they can't walk 2-3 feet and pump their own gas? I live in Wisconsin, and the winters are darn cold, but not even the old folks around here complain about pumping their own gas. If my 80 year old grandmother can do it, so can people in Oregon.

lol, guess it's a matter of perspective. XD Up here in the true north we never have anyone come out to pump for us. Its not expected.

Guess its very much a "you don't know what you got until it's gone." ;P

Right ? There's only one state left in the 50 left that doesn't have to pump on their own. Seems silly really and I've been reading the responses and bad humor third the new law. Strange times and even stranger people ... I guess faces come out of the range .. when your strange ... l o l

Did you see the pictures people were posting of the poor Oregonians actually failing to pump their gas properly? Starting fires, pumping the gas on the outside of the car as if it'll get into the tank through some bizarre osmosis, stuff like that. Pretty hilarious stuff (except the fire...that looked seriously dangerous).

“Though, as the crusade presses on, I find myself altogether incapable of staying here in saftey while others shed their blood for such a noble and just cause. For surely must the Almighty be with us even in the sundering of our nation. Our fight is for freedom, for liberty, and for all the principles upon which that aforementioned nation was built.” - Patrick “Madman of Galway” O'Dell

I don't know about laws, but every now and again in an out of the way country town I still find somewhere where an attendant offers to fill my tank.

It's a bit charming really.
