Either unlock the thread for all or stop replying.
You've been unusually quiet today, Kyrin. :silly:

The mods responding likely did not see that it was locked and just clicked on it from the new threads menu where it appears no matter its status unless deleted.
The reason rank was not changed right away is I wanted to try to talk to the member first.
Its very wise to talk to the member first before changing his rank , however it stays odd that moderators reply to a closed thread , i was a moderator here and i saw immediately that a thread was locked so are the moderators seeing less now?? Furthermore i think if anyone has anything to say to a member who is clearly unhappy with things here they should do so in a pm , its much more civil than us watching them react to a thread that we as lowly members and up cannot reply to , its a case of ettiquette .... good manners even ...

Plus it might make us look like a cult, which I think we can all agree we'd rather avoid.
Nami, I hope you stick around, even as a Guest. All this "conflict" here has its purpose, and you inadvertently help us by offering a different point of view.

There are definitely merits to what you say. On the other hand, I don't think anyone here wants to feel as if they are being censored. Both cases have the potential to be misinterpreted, unfortunately.

Just got back from shopping but have time to post this..... in the other thread, I was literally stepping out the door, going shopping, and did not see that it was locked... I dunno if was locked when I started reading the thread, as I just jumped online and read the whole thread in one hit and posted a reply. Which is why I said I didn't have time to respond to the actual intended question, rather just reflect on the problem it caused. I certainly didn't mean it as an 'abuse of power' hehe, sorry power, didn't mean to abuse you.
