But all of that is not limited to capitalism..... yet the presentation seems to make it out as if they are.
Any information explaining phenomena serves the manufacture (by the audience) of consent, but it is the freedom to participate as viewer or not, and how, and be a creator, that tend to sink the whole argument in my opinion. These freedoms tend to be espoused in the very system it criticizes while ignoring the vulnerabilities in other systems that restrict freedoms.
A big one is when information access becomes restricted, as a sign to worry. Whether that be deliberate restriction or some nature of advantage in delivery that is inaccessible to the rest of the community - the measure would be capacity or willingness of the audience to access diverse views. Things like the freedom offered by the internet and access to technology via capitalist free markets really seem to actively fight those 5 filters.
