I believe in the Grim Reaper, if that counts.

Certainly does! Can I ask why? I'm not knocking you, just interested :)

It just seems like it should be. The Messenger of the Force, the Reaper, a representation of our mortality. Because that's what being a Jedi is all about. Accepting our Mortality, and getting busy living.

I believe its possible. Now I have felt and seen things that I can't entirely explain but does that make it spiritual? Im not sure. So call me a questioning believe in most things paranormal. On a related note I do not know if many people here know who Ed and Lorraine Warran are but my family has known theirs for a very long time and I used to beg for pickles from their table at the local diner as a toddler.

I am, at my heart, an animist, so I believe in both ghosts and spirits to necessarily obvious degree. My views on what they are are less concrete than my beliefs in their existence, though.

I inadvertently called a Reaper once accidentally during a sleep paralysis moment, again see previous post as disclaimer about actuality, but it carried a staff not a scythe. The thing was.... the end of the staff was connected to a stream of 'light' like a strand of glowing cotton pulled back into wherever 'out there' was and where it came from. The Reaper pointed the staff at the targeted malevolent spirit and zapped it up like a vacuum. That motion and the receding whiteness of the line of light could certainly be misinterpreted as a scythe though
I mean I gotta pretty good look at it. I'd also suggest the blackness of the figure is not so much anything nefarious but rather just the contrast relative to the brightness of the white light.

Well.... I do probably owe him/her one now, unless we get a few free requests up our sleeve, though I wonder what they get up to when not vacuuming - but I don't really assert individual identity to that sort of thing, rather its just a function of energy/spirit/Force/ectoplasm/whatever being interpreted by my meager mind (or invented by it).

I know of them. Ive read their cases and found them incredible; particularly ammityville and Enfield. I think the 'conjuring' films about them are good too, although some parts are a little dramatised I feel. That's quite a funny little story! You're very lucky to have met them!
