Dark, Light or Grey? was created by Jason Peel
I've been curious to see where other Jedi stand on this here at TOTJO. Which aspect do you feel you exemplify? Why is it that you feel you belong there? What is your opinion on the others? Anyone?

I generally feel that most belong in the Grey, but that may be a side effect of being a lawyer in real life. I find that most people have aspects of light, and aspects of dark. To deny that is to deny human nature. In a sense it is what the Jedi of the movies always got wrong. Their separation was what was, in a sense their undoing. The Jedi of the movies (especially the prequels) have no method to mourn effectively. It is what lead Anakin down his dark path. Being upset and sad happens to us all, but it is how we work through that which makes us who we are, and as a result, I think most people are more Grey than Light or Dark, but I also think that although we are all Grey, most of us aspire to the Light.

I don't believe Jediism here teaches "aspects", so it's not something many bother associating with (okay, I'll just speak for myself)
I had more, but changed my mind - I don't think the comparison is useful

What's an aspect? Can I be lilac or bubble gum pink? Or are we only dealing with shades of grey?
The pessimist complains about the wind;
The optimist expects it to change;
The realist adjusts the sails.

Lol, well if that's your preference then I see no reason that you couldn't be. I suppose I was more or less attempting to gauge your moral inclinations. Light dark and grey are simple classification terms I chose for their relationship with the term Jedi.

The Doctrine to my reading indicates that ethical behaviour is preferred
Of course, many of our friends here are not, or choose not to use the term Jedi.

Well brown is just a dark orange, so on the visible spectrum we are as close to red as one can get without being burnt - as the ground/base/extent :lol: in terms of morals :blink:

If you are looking to gauge our moral inclination, the Doctrine ought to tell you the most of it.
If you'd like to understand why you are highly unlikey to get a 'straight' a) or b) answer to this
question, you might want to do lesson 2 chapter 2 of the Initiate Programme, though the name
might give you an idea what it's about: The game of black and white

More of a flannel kind of jedi myself, but if you were to ask specifically to those 3, I would say grey

What's beautiful about us humans is that we are not robots, which means we have changing moods and behaviors depending on the day, the frame of mind, and the situation.
Some days I may sound like Carlos. Others more like Snowy. Much of the time, I'm somewhere in between. Both directions are good for different situations.
At the end of the day though, my signature remains the same.
