I could have said things in a gentler way.......... sorry.
I did overreact to this. A lot. And that I actually apologize for. Accounts can't be deleted as it turns out, and sure, I'll take up your challenge, Gist, but don't expect it to be right away. I will need to save up some money first to buy the stuff. I kinda threw a fit. Sorry TOTJO.

Silas Mercury wrote: I have reported Gisteron countless times, and I find him arrogant and rude ..... but calling him a 'piece of sh*t' is just stooping to his level. No offence there, Gisteron.

While Gisteron is not flawless, he seldom resorts to personal attacks.... If he had, then everyone would be on the same level... ;)

The thing he does most, is just hammers home wanting 'proof', and seldom can see how he is acting... But, this is true of many of us, and is not his burden alone...

If he is guilty of anything, I have found in my years (wow, already?) of knowing him, is 'lack of emapthy' on how he comes across in conversations, not worrying if his words sting... Like a few others, he thinks that if you are offended, thats on you...

But, saying "your breath smells like ass" and "dude, your breath smells" accomplish the same thing, and the latter SHOULD not be taken as an insult, as it only relays an opinion....

He (Gisteron) could have a better delivery, in my opinion, but, I'll reprimand him about it when A. its a direct, personal attack, or B. I am perfect...

All meaningless however as none of these "demonstrations" are done under scientific or controlled conditions. Just as many videos debunking this sort of trickery can be provided as videos that provide "proof". There's tons of videos that reveal the secrets behind these magical tricks.

In particular Guy Bavli, who was born in Tel Aviv, developed a mind reading act and became a member of the Israeli Air Force Performing Group as an actor and singer while serving in the Israel Defense Forces. In 2002 he moved from Israel to the United States where he became interested in mentalism and illusions. He was particularly influenced by Uri Geller.

If these people could actually demonstrate paranormal powers they could be Millionaires as James Randy has had a Million Dollar Challenge in place that could be won for the successful demonstration of paranormal ability. For over 19 years not a single challenger has passed that test. Maybe this 3 year old child in the OP would be the first but somehow I doubt it. ;)

Oh lord, John chang has made an appearance.

Here is the bottom line, nothing has been demonstrated that a street magician couldnt also do, aside from the fact the street magician has no problem telling you that its a trick.

There is also the glaring fact that if someone was in fact doing what could only be seen to be legitimate telekinesis they would be much more high profile in some capacity as Kyrin has stated.

I cal shenanigans.

Then there is the observation that people have essentially put years into training how to move a pinwheel piece of tinfoil with there minds.... Even were I to go off the premise it were true, this seems like a lot of investment for little return.

When is someone gonna levitate an X-wing? Or a car?

I don't personally hold any malice or doubt for those who can use their subtle energies to manipulate the universe. I think it's pretty cool. However: as a mystic, it is my responsibility to let people know that these abilities's existence really is a mystery. The best attitude to have in approaching these concepts is to have an open but skeptical mind. Do not trust the word of anybody, but also do not ask for proof. In many cases, it is against the rites and beliefs of mystic organizations to use their abilities for personal gain (especially monetarily). Usually those who are in it for personal gain are charlatans.

I don't have any powers... Nor do I think it is worth the time to develop them. My own Magick is the changing of my life that I do daily and the powers I have developed to change everything around me. All without challenging the laws of physics! :D

Well, thats certainly a clever B.S. way to avoid any accountability.

I do wonder though while in many cases its against there beliefs, it cannot be for all, and yet, still no one getting paid....I mean, every sect has its individuals who leave, drop out etc, or simply groups who do not have those rules...

Lol, and do not ask for proof...Well, then dont put it out there to be viewed. The first thing any intelligent person, or student would want is some sort of further evidence.

From my point of view, it could be clever BS. I have never witnessed magical powers. And, I don't really care to. It doesn't really interest me because I don't believe it's possible. However, regardless of my view, it COULD be possible. So, I keep an open mind, but I also don't seek it.

I'm only interested in what was given to me in my life.
