Two reasons I'm doing this. Knowing a thing by instinct, and understanding a thing are two different realms


And the second reason is I've been wanting to run a guided discussion but I don't have a lot of experience teaching. I have, however, been through several classes on respect so I thought that'd be a great way to get my feet wet

I grew up with the saying "courtesy is given, respect is earned"....
In a civil society, courtesy is the grease for the wheels, however respect is just a reactive emotion within an individual as to whether they admire the actions of another...
Language is inherently democratic, so perhaps my definitions need to change to match with the current vogue...
Anyhow, I'll await the transcript and learn what I've missed...
