I am an introvert online as well as in real world interactions Edan.

I find it hard to step out and post on forums, talk in chat, I have played online multi player games to try to "help" me and I found I just ran around solo never talking with the thousands of people around me.

I do feel drained and stressed if I do too much at once.

I don't talk more online generally, but I do find that sometimes even people online wear me down and I don't message people for ages because the thought of interacting with another person just in itself is stressful. Beginning to understand here why I was finding a lot of stress as a knight.

I am the same online as off as far as introversion goes. I love being social but if I don't get a chance to recharge, I'll go into an angry hermit mode. I'll withdraw from all human contact I can, online and off, and if I'm forced to interact, I'll be irritated and give answers based on our relationship and how much I like you.

I wish I was better at explaining I need that time. Rather than trying to hide it or try to work through it. I am worried people won't understand and just leave me behind or I'll forget to reconnect when I'm done.

i'm a natural introvert, i'm the same online as i am offline...i've learned over the years to open up both online and off...however there are times when i have to withdraw because the thought of dealing with people simply irritates me...i'll stop talking, typing, texting...everything...sometimes just a day or two..sometimes weeks...depends on how long it takes to refresh, which depends on how irritated i am...

introverts have benefits that extroverts do not...and extroverts have benefits that introverts do not...

"know thyself"....

knowing if you're an introvert, extrovert, or something in between is useful in determining where you need to do self improvement if needed and desired..

now, the illustrations in the article were over simplified, but (particularly for me) they were a perfect representation of what goes on inside the mind of an introvert...people think i'm not listening or paying attention because i'm not interacting...i am listening and paying attention...to everything...there's just an overwhelming amount of information i'm processing...

being able to identify the behaviors and traits of introverts and extroverts is a useful skill...
