What happens after death if you believe in Jediism?

I'm just curious since I'm new to TOTJO, can somebody please help me out? Thanks

At any rate, what happens after death really doesn't depend much on whether the dying one believed in Jediism. Jediism is by no means a very well or fully defined construct as it is, however, there doesn't seem to be much of a distinction between the post-mortal fates of Jedi and non-Jedi, as far as I have heard. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised to find Jedi who do think that what you believe in life about Jediism would have an influence outside of the legacy you left behind whilst being one.
So, as with any other question of doctrine, no clear answer. Nothing in Jediism offers one answer to this over all others and for almost every answer you hear one Jedi believe, there is another one out there who believes the contrary...

Everything else goes on. I hope my consciousness as I know it goes on too but who knows.

It ultimately doesn't matter, in my opinion, and it shouldn't matter. That's the beauty of the Jedi Community is that we don't define the afterlife- which I believe is the tragedy of other theologies really. We shouldn't be living our lives in accordance of the personal endgame reward, but rather for the reward it gives others to be around us.

Just my opinion.

The same as if you do not, the difference will be in perception. Physical laws of energy recycling are scientific fact. Everything else are interpretations which we should not get attached to.

We have our experiences and we have the ability to educate ourselves and practice to develop knowledge, trust to the Force and clarity of the mind.

Out of experiences we develop trust. In the Force and it's continuity beyond matter. To not be afraid of death is to have an experience of something stronger then death. John Tavener and Hayao Miyazaki, for example, achieved this through intense spiritual artistic efforts. I achieved this through healing myself from decade-long emotional and existential trauma which brought me to my personal rock bottom.

Just before Ninakawa passed away the Zen master Ikkyu visited him. “Shall I lead you on?” Ikkyu asked.

Ninakawa replied: “I came here alone and I go alone. What help could you be to me?”

Ikkyu answered: “If you think you really come and go, that is your delusion. Let me show you the path on which there is no coming and no going.”

With his words, Ikkyu had revealed the path so clearly that Ninakawa smiled and passed away.

I'm not sure Jediism says much about it beyond its reference in the Code/s!? Personally.... my most recent NDE seemed to be like floating up; where outer space is actually full of spiritual 'light' which can manifest familiar forms to meet you at low Earth orbit. That is as much as I could get from it and I'm in no rush to repeat it. Probably a sort of hallucination as a result of the conditions around the NDE, part of the brain dying perhaps, but who knows!!!! As a telling of the experience - its strange but true - whether anyone wants to believe it represents anything beyond a vision/dream/imagination is up to them :side:
I'll always be part skeptic, even to my own experiences :whistle:
