I was reading Inara.Noxx's intro journal post and she mentioned she was INFJ on the Myers-Briggs Personality test. I am curious where others are on that scale.

I am INFP .

Test can be taken at numerous places, here's one: Myers-Briggs Personality Test

If you search you'll find some older threads on this :)

I'm INFJ. Seems to be more common amongst Jedi than elsewhere...

Yeah. I completely neglected the age old rule about searching first. Derp! Sorry about that. I know better too...

I am an INFj/p....

I say j/p because depending on the test and what's going on in my life at the time, I'll either rank as a J or a P, but always they're very, very tiny in their preference amount, like... 3-7% preference. Some people would say then, "well read more about each one and pick one"... but the fact is, there are very strong characteristics on both that apply to who I am.

That said, my INF characteristics are also extremely strong (60%+ for NF and 90%+ for I).

The thing to keep in mind about the MBTI is that the 16 personalities are trying to neatly place you into set labels, which is an issue when that particular trait flips back and forth like my j/p does. Even my INF, from time to time I'll have E, S, or T traits, in a variety of combinations.

It's one of those "It's a good thing to read about, but don't let it try to dictate who you are and how you act"...

Example: Based on TZB's chart right there and the descriptions, I'd personally say I can be INFJ, INFP, ENFP, and ENFJ at any given point at time, and the thought that I could even be the slightest bit extroverted is laughable at best ;) Heck, I'd even be willing to through in the occasional periods of ISFJ and ISFP... *shrugs*

Good to know, fun to read about, but not all that precise in the grand scheme of things.

Just be you :D

I got INFP-A, Mediator, which is what I usually roll up with on those tests.

According to the quiz you linked, I am INTJ although the T and the J are by fairly small amounts. I find my results vary depending on the quiz I take. But I do have a "personality disturbance" so that could play a part in that. It's funny how what is termed a disturbance is part of what makes me who I am. :P

Ha! I just stumbled upon this and didn't realize I was the reason for the start of this thread.

I'm always finding quizzes and such to help me better understand myself/my personality, so don't think that's the only one I'll post here on the forums (in my Journal)! :D

Jeepers, it gave me INTJ-A and they said I should be an 'Architect'. I 67, N 29, T 14, J 17. I'm pretty sure I used to be INTF or INFP
