despite the description of the intj/p (mastermind/architect) being spot on for me, it's not how i perceive myself....then again these tests aren't meant to show us how we "think" we are but how we actually are....

i got INTP-A ; inventor

apparently we make up only three percent of the population and "INTPs are known for their brilliant theories and unrelenting logic – in fact, they are considered the most logically precise of all the personality types."

tell that to my mother lol

reading this i think that it really does describe me, but i cant help but wonder if thats not like the psychics who "perfectly describe" their clients by selective cues and ego appeals lol

anyway it was fun, thanks :-)

People are complicated.

I'm pretty solidly INPT-T. I have always gotten this when taking this kind of personality test. The description describes me almost perfectly.

I do so too. I always like the character didn't realize why I identified with him so much until now.

I first dabbled in the Myers Briggs more than two years ago. For the better part of that time, I have tested continuously as INFJ. It seems, as time goes on and I become a part of more people's lives, my extroverted feeling gets more and more developed. That being said, I've spent an unhealthy amount of time inside my own head (which attributes to a strong Ni and a weak Se), both of which I intend to hone through Jediism.

What really interests me about the MBTI is type dynamics. For example, both my mother and my best friend are INFP. We get along fabulously, but can disagree enormously when it comes to intellectual conversation. I believe this is due to the clashing introverted intuition (of the INFJ) and extroverted intuition (of the INFP). Rather than avoid this, I think it is an excellent opportunity for us to build each other up.

A problem I've noticed about MBTI, in popular media, is people tend to use archetypes to justify certain behavior. I view it as a tool, allowing us to learn how to utilize our strengths and how to minimize our weaknesses. It also teaches how to interact responsibly with others.
