It has been pointed out that I can do better. And it's true. So, here we go...

I sincerely want even the people I do not like to be happy and safe. My heart is good that way.

Even when I feel absolutely horrible (much too often) I try with everything I have to never take it out on people around me - my problems shouldn't make someone else's day worse.

When I ask 'How're you doing?' It is a genuine question.
If I get more than a simple 'Oh fine' or 'Good' then I listen intently.
If someone decides to open up and tell me about something they are dealing with that I could possibly help with, I do my best to be available to help where and how I can.

I'm not under the illusion that I can solve all issues. But sometimes having someone really listen to you is enough to improve your day.

I pick up on things pretty quickly. Usually I can memorize something after hearing it once. There are exceptions, but I think that it still happens more times than not. Or maybe I just forgot forgetting a bunch of things.
