my life direction

I've been meditating for three days near solid and contemplating on my life and what direction it should go, i want to help the world and be an effective part of its history, its being, I've come up with an answer and that is to help expand the knowledge of the earth be, grateful of the sacrifices that our ancestors made for us and be respectful of what Gaia has done for us.

We should as Jedi or Jedi in training strive to change the world for the better of everything and everyone. That is the direction that I want my life to go in.

Any ideas how one can achieve this or ideas which are simular would be appreciated.

That is a commendable goal. It's also kind of vague. What I would first suggest is narrowing your focus. I'd start with your community. Look for a charity or non-profit or something along those lines near you.

The smallest ripple still changed the ocean.

Dear Jonus,
This is only my small sharing of words, I do not want to have an opinion.. guess that is an opinion to no mater what I tell.. :blink: small minding about small things becoming big stories sometimes, :blush:

Want to be effective part of history? We are all effective in our own right, or do you want to be written down in a book? Then write a book about your history.. Carve it in stone if you have the skill.. You can carve..

The earth does have knowledge? Can knowledge be expanded? We are all an part of Gaia, borrowed an made by her own, we are her knowledge? We know what we can expect, for as long we use intuition. Knowledge is only an tool to confirm your intuition?

To be honest knowledge and intuition are seen separate from each other in this dimension, not sure if they share a deep connection with each other. But knowledge can be as much of use as it can affect your own intuition. We can try to make 'history' but why?

Everything we know is the now.. this moment that you read my words we will always be remembered as history. But there is no 'memory of history', only memories of the now..
So how do we understand history? How do we understand some concept that we can only see trough memories of other 'moments of the now'? How can a Jedi tell that he want to something, or recommend others to want something that we can not fully see?

Sometimes is can be useful, do not get me wrong. Sometimes doing without knowing everything will make us pioneers of our own vessel. Gives us room to learn. But I do not know if I, personal, would like to expand and create history. If there is a connection with our intuition and knowledge somewhere, then why is it that our history is not our reality that we see as our reality? Could I say that history is only an understanding of were we are at this moment? ''Making history'' when history is a reflection to our very own reality? Why would a Jedi shape reflections? Why would a Jedi shape an painting if it is not to express himself?

A common saying is that ''Expression is the window to one his soul'' But why do we express? Is it to learn? To feel? Just to share? Would I be a fool If I would tell that the very same expression can be found it the way we life at this moment? Would I be a fool if I would say that painting itself is a way to express my painted painting? The colors that I choose are to become my result? Becoming effective part of history is like not to expand the knowledge but to express? Just like to not explore knowledge? But to discover it?
You could only live knowledge to find out that your personal knowledge comes form living your knowledge you did not know you already had? Creating your own part of your inner self with the colors that you already had in your hand?
Painting your own self reflection, to finally understand that it was not the reflection that you was looking for? Not the reflection of the water but the water itself? Not the art but the way of art? History of your painting rather than the painting itself? Expressing your very inner oil that you tried to drag out on the canvas to make it more visible?

If I ask if you can separate your mind of your body, would you agree? Would you agree that our mind and body have an separate and an equal history? If Gaia exist in history, could it be that Gaia and history are connected, that it is not possible to create the history of Gaia, but only at Gaia? Possible to create an wound at her skin, but knowing that her and your history is separate as much as it is equal?

roughly speaking, this requires that you remove fear or greed from your decisions and interactions

the petty side of man, the weak side, is extremely self important and skittish

afraid of losing whatever it may have and coveteous of the success and attention and wealth of others and at the same time resentful of those same others it envies

as well as resentful of anyone who may have rubbed us wrong along the way

make a commitment to be noble in your own emotions towards yourself and everyone else

its possibly so normal for you to love it that you dont even think of it in the context of "destiny" or "what i should do with my life"
but the reality is that this thing is THE ONLY THING YOU CAN do with your life

Honestly this world is full of followers who think they are leaders because they have a title. What this world needs is leaders who lead by doing, not by telling people what to do.

A leader is someone who is on the front lines with you, doing the same work and helping others to become better than they previously were. A leader is someone who knows the way, shows the way and goes the way. They pride themselves on integrity, honesty, loyalty and being able to motivate others.

We need more leaders like this to show others that if they really want to change who they are and become better, they can do it and there is help available. Having more leaders will slowly correct things over time since people will start respecting things like integrity and honesty instead of gang bangers, twerkers or other such nonsense. We as a people, at least in America, have gone from idolizing our parents to idolizing fictional characters like super heroes and sports players.

When people start coming together, learning and growing together we start uniting as a whole and this will bring about a safer way of life, it will produce better workers and help families stay happily together instead of dysfunctional and split up. Many will look down on this because they look down on change and claim happiness when it isn't there.

As Jedi/Practicing Jedi we grow ourselves to be figure heads to help others. We grow ourselves to be leaders though many here wouldn't know how to do that exactly and if people saw their whole life, they wouldn't want to follow that person. We can't just grow ourselves in one area, it has to be in all areas. I know there is probably multiple ways of doing this, personally I have found only one that works without fail as long as people put in the hard effort and time to make it work.

Back to the basic point I was making, slowly and in a long round about way, leaders who focus on the key aspects (integrity, honesty, etc) are the ones we need to follow because they will lead us to safety, not to ruin. We need more people like that to slowly change the world and make it a better place.

Perhaps let it invade very corner of your being, every moment of your time, no matter what your doing or not doing - let it become a way to view the world from the moment you open your eyes in the morning till when you shut them at night!? It cannot all be about non-stop action & physical effort, but even the mindfulness of it might mean your able to increase it's occurrence more broadly and maximise any opportunity that might emerge. No road is without bumps and corners though!!

Thank you all for your responses, it has give me much to think about. I am still learning even at the age of 33 and i still have much to meditate on.
