I am reading The everything Gnostic gospels book by Meera Lester. It is sort of Gnosticism for dummies

Going through some classic sci-fi.

Just finished "Maximes" de La Rochefoucauld and began "The Solitary Self" by Mary Midgley.

The Epigenetic Revolution by Nessa Carey. Really good at explaining why plain old genetics does not explain the whole story of inherited characteristics

"How to See Yourself As You Really Are" by the Dalai Lama.

I'm really enjoying it thus far, although I like to think over each chapter so it's taking a while to read! :laugh: I'm not complaining, though.

I rarely find myself going back to books, but I'm re-reading and once again thoroughly enjoying this one. It's a fairly dark and gritty dystopian noir excursion set in a futuristic Middle East that's filled with all the sex, drugs, tech, and intrigue that one might expect from the cyberpunk genre.

Already started reading it and really enjoying it so far... completely not what I expected (and you can tell from the subject it was written in the 40s).

I am reading Foundation's Edge by Isaac Asimov the 3rd book from the Foundation series and also La Gloire de mon père by Marcel Pagnol
Good books to read !

I got into this one, Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky and it's far more interesting than I'd expected.


I knew it was a second hand book but it turned to be not just that but the print made for proofreading which makes it a little special
