Friendly Reminder (that's not aimed at anyone in particular)

I feel like people in this community occasionally forget a couple important things and wanted to share some related thoughts. These are of course things that I sometimes lose sight of as well, so this is as much a reminder to myself as to anyone else.

1. TotJO is a church and this site a temple. Please treat it as such. Be respectful to others and see if you can hold yourself to a higher standard when interacting on the forum.

2. When conversing, it's okay to attack ideas, but not people.^* Please be cordial and don't neglect the inherent worth of each person's thoughts, feelings, and opinions.

Essentially, be good to one another and don't forget why most of us have chosen TotJO as our spiritual home. The majority of people in this community are here to learn, grow, listen, and engage with other Jedi peacefully about their individual paths and issues that are of genuine interest to them and others.

haha... I see a little of myself in all of those people at times... minus the questionable physics.

2 was something I had to work on for a long time. Not just here, but everywhere. I often found myself attacking people. I may still do it from time to time. But, I am really glad I notice it now.

But, this post is awesome!
