What Would You Do?

So, I recently finalized my decision to return to the civilian world once my contract with the military ends. But now that I've decided that, I find myself feeling like I'm back in school going "I have no idea what I should do". So the question I have is this: If you could do anything you wanted for your job, what would you do? What would your dream career be? Or if you've already figured that out, what is it?

Essentially, I'm just trying to get ideas. I have some, but sometimes it's good to get other ideas too.

I would get paid to travel all over the world, eat only the finest food, and write about my experiences along the way.

Of course that's just a fantasy, but you asked.

If I could do absolutely anything I would teach the art of swordplay. That would require me to learn first of course (which I plan on doing), lol, but If I could do anything that would be my dream job.

Skydive instructor or professional adventurer or something like that. I even wrote monster energy drinks offering to space jump from 25 miles if they would only bankroll it. No go.

My dream job has always been to own and run my own tattoo shop. However, after getting denied going to art school, I got distraught and stopped wishing for things that wouldn't happen. Currently, I'm studying Early Childhood Education. It's something I've always wanted to do also.

My dream job is to create fantasy rooms for kids. I've done three so far, a Simpson room, a Pokemon room and a Rugrat's room. It just doesn't pay enougth to do full time. My dream is to have customers all year round. LOL

This is what I would do for a job, if I could do anything : exactly what I do here in the TotJO.

That said, I'm pretty content with the job I have, as it really isn't so different and still lets me spend time in the TotJO even at work.

So, it comes full circle : I'm essentially doing what I would want to do.

It would be to fly rescue helicopters, winching people out of dangerous circumstances.

Perfect job? I would be funded by a mystery benefactor to travel around the country helping people at random. I would avoid simply handing out money and try to find a way to make the solution a personal victory for the person in trouble. Continuing education would be a part of it, taking me from one school to another learning practical or common sense skills that can be used to help people just live their lives. I would seek to share my knowledge and skills in a way that would help everyone involved grow into a more positive and productive person.
