If so, then I see no problem here for either of you to discuss, I myself am a bisexual male, we get along fine on first contact and we seem to have a mutual understanding regardless of sex, age, race, or creed. :)

I don't even have an issue with a gay man being attracted to me and telling me. I take it as a compliment. As long as there's no unwanted physical contact, and, for what it's worth, I don't like girls groping me uninvited.

My two cents are these:
While sexuality isn't as polar as we used to think it is and there is a wide spread graduation in the preferences of one sex over the other, along with the intermediates of both bisexuality and asexuality, it is still universally most common that the opposite sex is preferred and every sexually reproducing species with two distinct sexes for that purpose where the majority wouldn't have a tendency to prefer the respective opposite sex would have died out at some point and probably has. So in a way, while all kinds of sexuality appear and are perfectly natural, at the very least strict homosexuality will always be seen as odd, and be it only because it is a minority trait. However, bigotry and hatred aren't exactly mature methods to deal with one's irritation so I submit that this can, must and will be overcome in every place where honesty and dignity are virtues and progress of any sort is a worthy cause.

Probably derives from jealousy at its root. Maybe not of individuals or genders, but the circumstance of others being in/demonstrating love and passion. If a person was experiencing a heightened state of passion or love, then they'd probably not notice or care about other people minding their own business so much. All the other things people throw on top of that is just exaggerating that root selfish comparison, perhaps!?

I'd say jealousy exists in different species, its just they don't get together and make too much a fuss about it. Perhaps other species live more in the now, especially the ones with shorter lives unless they perceive the passage of time differently.

That is a very interesting take on that quote Adder! I would not have thought about that in such a way. I always figured plain ignorance was the problem of it but your point is equally if not, more valid. Gonna have to do some more analyzing on how I see problems like this :)
