Good one Sidvkili! I was very taken by the video. Hook, line and sinker. You reminded me to always verify your source.
I'll try to remember that in the future.
Good on you.

Next time, actually do some research instead of linking something worse than the history channel. As a guy who did a bit of myth and theo in Uni, here's a few things to think about before you link your next piece of BS.
1. Mithras was not born of a virgin. He came fully formed and spawned from a rock, lol.
2. Mithras did not die for anybody's sins, he killed a bull for the start of the next astrological calender
3. Mithras and Horus have no legitimate record or is it even canon mythology of being baptised at 12.
4. Nor did they have 12 followers, or a 12 set of anything.
Most of this information was from cults of Addas which was debunked in th 2nd to fourth century.
Nice going Khaos

By area of the force, I mean component. I think of it like the ocean. With waves, whirlpools, currents... You can grab a glass and take a "piece" of the ocean. You can take a "piece" of the Force, and it can be empty space, a star, an ant, or me... That glass of Force is a glass of energy. And because energy never disappears, the glass of Force we call "ren" will never disappear either. Once you pour your glass of water back in the ocean, you cannot get the same glass of water again.... But it didn't disappear. It is still part of the ocean.
I didn't mean anything particular. The Force is like finely tuned machinery. Its smallest components are like finely tuned machinery. To me, believing that our conscience (soul) or appearance can be retained (as a ghost, spirit, whatever) without everything it has been relying on (our body, planet, moon, sun, etc) is like saying a clock will still give the time when you take all of its cogs out.Regarding ghostly vapors . . you mean like disembodied spirits, transcended masters, souls in-between reincarnations, etc.?
Convictions are more dangerous foes of truth than lies.

I did. Your Welcome
And I said just do your research instead of being lazy and just posting religious BS ( I do consider Zeitgeist a faith system).
And the entire thing is actually bunk. They did spell Horus right, though. So I guess not...

Is being wrong a crime?
Ive never claimed to know everything, and I wouldnt learn much new if I wasnt. In essence, posting this taught me something I didnt know, research done, the forum was used as the tool it was meant to be.
Thanks.
Lol, and on top of that, there is still a connection with the astrology, seasons, etc, in many of the mythologies and religions, in fact Christianity purposely overwrote a couple of pagan ones, so the entire thing isnt bunk. However I suppose if your only objective was to burn me in some way, I can so no real reason for the petty antagonism. Good for you, you get to be right on something and I was wrong.
Give yourself a pat on the back.

I asked a historian what she thinks of the bible and she said it was the most historically accurate account of events that occurred at that time. It also contains major innacurracies, so that says a lot about accounts of that time period. So a really innacurate book, which is more accurate than any other book at that time, is no basis for a modern religion. It is, however, a great way to manipulate people into donating 10% of their income. Beware the false profit.
