If there are any other sources to support this position, I would love to read further and will do some research myself before I come to my own conclusion

But I'm always sketchy about people who I have to buy tickets for their "grand truth". So he smells conspiracy to me. Not to mention some of the info don't make much sense but maybe I don't know much lol.

On the other hand, the influence of elaborate stories was explored in "Storytelling" a few years ago by Christian Salmon (- yes, that is the author's name ; I'm not talking about religious fish).

I too am wary of the "buy tickets to my event I'm going to disprove religion" sort of stuff. Still, it could just be that this gentleman is a capitalist.

For surely must the Almighty be with us even in the sundering of our nation. Our fight is for freedom, for liberty, and for all the principles upon which that aforementioned nation was built.” - Patrick “Madman of Galway” O'Dell

But at what expense? If it was indeed a weapon, it is the most powerful and destructive ever invented.
There's strong suggestions as well that the book that best documents celtic religious practices (written by julius cesar) and specifically druids was a fabricated propaganda tool... So that the romans would believe that the celts/druids are worthy of rome's attention but that they need to be invaded too, to be civilized and at peace, etc.
Basically just like the news today. Actually rome used to be a democracy :S
We're sooo f*cked.
