The Nature of the Mind was created by
The nature of the mind, when understood, no human words can compass or disclose. Elightenment is naught to be obtained, and he that gains, does say he knows.

What is the world, but an embodiment of the mind.

The mind is everything.

I'd like to add: what you think becomes, your mind creates.

Actually the mind is understood pretty well by people who study how and why it works the way it does rather than starting with the premise that it is beyond our understanding. In fact, that premise is a really good pivot point for all sorts of ignorance. As is, of course, the postulation of knowledge in advance to the study that shall reveal it.
So yea, I pretty much disagree that this sort of wise men's statements are wise statements.. for reasons as simple as their detrimental implications to any field of study related to their contents and, of course, that our fair Jedi code instructs us to seek knowledge which is demonstrated to only be obtainable once premises like that it isn't are dismissed.

"Thus when the Buddha was attaining enlightenment, he observed; Strange indeed it is, for I see that in reality all creatures are enlightened... are Buddhas".
Probably 'self', in its natural form, if enlightenment is some concept of refinement away from that.

By that quote, I took it as enlightenment being the unrefined, where the concept of self and duality are refinements from enlightenment. Or, as in Taoism, the uncarved block.

Are you implying the ONLY way to know one's mind is through science?
I posted this believing it to be a thought provoking self discovery and good for philosphical discusion.

Mind is not brain.
