Non deliberate contact?

Do you believe that it is possible to come into contact with other people or "energies" while asleep without intending to?

Im aware that this seems vauge but I dont really know enough to expand on it further (Yet anyway)

Some people believe that dreams are merely an unconscious trip, almost the same as Astral Projection, in that you're watching a cut scene instead of playing the video game.


I believe that this could be true, and that if it were true you would have to, at some points, run into other "people", whether you wanted to or not.

I have two answers for you, and it depends just on what kind of reality we live in:

1. I think that we are all one with a Divine energy that spreads through all living beings. And, as such, we can certainly connect with others the way we cannot in our wakefulness state while we are asleep.

2. I think our dreams are mere reflections of the mind's work. We slip into a lower level of consciousness and our brain activity and purpose changes.

I believe we are all connected, whether we're awake or asleep. However i do believe we can unintentionally come into contact with other energies when sleeping. I think maybe because the conscious mind is switched off, the unconscious mind has free reign and is not bound by the same limitations of our conscious mind or physical body.

What about other people/energy having an impact on you?

I don't think there's anything particularly interesting about sleep: Why would we not be more likely to come into contact with "energies" when we eat a plant or animal? I mean, you can't be more "in contact" than that: they literally become a part of you.

Also, everything we encounter always has an impact on us.

I suppose I should have been more clear. I meant a concious and deliberate impact.

that can rarely be achieved even in ones conscious state. so no, IMO.
