The metaphysical vs physical distinction is a false dichotomy.
There is only our natural world, and nothing more.
All things labeled as metaphysical or supernatural, if they do indeed exist or occur are not supernatural at all, but purely physical and natural phenomenon.
A few hundred years ago you would have been considered insane if you said you could use invisible waves to talk to someone miles away through walls and forests even.
If you demonstrated this and proved it you'd be burned at the stake as witch.
We all know radiowaves aren't supernatural or metaphysical.

Well said. And I have heard that quote before, but I could never remember who said it.
Thank you.

Maynoth, I agree with you completely, and there may come a time when the "supernatural" and "metaphysical" of today will become the science of tomorrow, but as a general rule (from what I've seen of mankind), people need something larger than themselves to believe in, whether it be boogeymen, ghosts, God, or aliens.

We call ourselves Jedi, which would be a common starting point...
Say the center of the compass...
But we fan out in many different directions from that point...

Man is destined to achieve Godhood. I want to see us evolve. To realize our ultimate potential.
I don't get along with most spiritual type people because for me real spirituality is science and vice versa.
I believe in what I see, experience, and understand first hand, by my own observations, that's enough for me.

I have many times, no one listens lol.
I believe in what you can see and experience first hand, not having faith in some unknown whatever.
The sects I study are sciences in the purest sense of the word.
Thousands of human guinea pigs have died testing out different methods, to find what worked and what didn't.
Theories were built upon observations, and refined over generations. Tested and refined and retested.
Faith doesn't factor into it at all.
