I decided to start this in the morning before school because that is the time I have the most of. I began with a breathing exercise also listening to my surroundings. Then which led to another part of my meditation (that I forgot to mention) which was massaging the stomach and diaphragm with the fingers up and down until the muscles fell relaxed. My environment was outside so there was a damp and fresh scent. Overall this form of meditation is working quite well so far.
