Kelrax Lorcken reacted to this post about 3 days agoI need to get this off my chest. Just a few moments ago I witnessed my friend's dog get hurt. I don't know if they were hit by a truck or attacked by another dog. My brother and I just heard the screaming and we came out. They had sophie the dog wrapped in towels the police man came up and went to her. Clair my friend was saying that she can't put sophie down, then she said she was breathing and alive. Then they rushed to the neighbor's car and rushed to the vet. My brother and I rushed to Claire's house to tell her dad. I was devastated when I realized who it was. I've never had this happen before.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Item will now be visible on your stream.
Kobos reacted to this post about 1 week agoTomorrow is my 16th birthday. I will be celebrating with friends with sushi. First time trying sushi,so I don't know what to expect. Although, I am sad that my dad won't be able to come home for another few weeks. We've been apart for 4 months and it's been so hard to cheer from the sidelines, but he's getting so much better. I honestly am running out of patience. All I want really is to be with my dad, but thanks to the set backs I can finally know him better. Thank you all for getting me through almost three years on temple!Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Item will now be visible on your stream.

On Sunday, I finally went back to Color Guard. One thing though... we have to learn riffles. only three of our team members know how to do riffles, and with only three days of practice we're doing considerably well. This morning was rough for me to put a genuine smile on my face when I was around one of my teammates. I don't like being rude or do I try to give people attitude, but it just slipped out. I said to him "We all don't learn the same, and we should break down the routine so the newbies and even us returning members won't struggle." He replies " You've been giving me a lot of attitude the last two practices Can you stop." There was nothing wrong with his response, but I felt so bad that I said it, and I look up to him as a superior so his words well... stung me hard. I just felt left out and I didn't want to cause anymore drama so I avoided him for awhile. Should I tell him how he made me feel the next time we meet or should I just let it slide?
Anyway, I was watching the Power of Myth on Netflix and Joseph Campbell is very inspiring. I really wish I could of met him before he passed (then again we probably would have never met. lol) the best way to lift your spirits after a tiring morning color Guard practice is folding Laundry and drinking raspberry zinger tea while watching Power of myth an Learning Lots !!
Two of my favorite quotes from Campbell
"Find a place inside where there's joy, and the joy will burn out the pain."
"Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls."
Have a wonderful day everyone and MTFBWY.

Vaziel_Sorel reacted to this post about 1 month agoI am back from Germany. I will have many photos to share with you all once they upload. I had a great time on land, the plane part coming back was not the greatest experience. Last twenty minutes of the flight, when the seat belt light was on I (not to gross anyone out ) I spewed, and I didn't have a puke bag all I had was my drinking bottle. I felt so bad for the flight attendants, but coming through customs in America there was a machine that was supposed to give me a receipt, but it didn't (typical technology) so I had to talk to security. The guy asked if I knew what I was doing. I said "no" then he asked "how come?" I replied " Because I just puked, and I'm jet lagged, have a splinting migraine, and I haven't had food so I'm quite miserable." He said "okay." It took me a minute to realize what I said and I probably made a fool out of myself. Well I'm home now, thanks for having my back everyone!Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Kelrax Lorcken reacted to this post about 2 months agoThree days! I'm not doing so good with waiting. I think I've meditated more this week than I have for the past month. lol. *inhales deeply* why does time have to go so slow when you are so close, but yet so far from a certain time!? This is another time to practice patience.....when I'm out of it.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Item will now be visible on your stream.
I was outside weed wacking the jungle that is my backyard and as it started raining. I hadn't realized that I whacked poison Ivy and it's chlorophyll was all over. I was itching in agony and I am happy I had aloe and benadryl. Lol. I am going to sit and relax.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Item will now be visible on your stream.
