Is fact truth?

Is this from an epistemological or ontological position ? :dry:

I'd agree with the notion that there is no truth in the ontological sense. However, if truth was available even at the practical level, the notion that something is absolutely correct 100% of the time, how useful would it be? Our world is one given structure from likelihood, not truth. Absolute truth would completely disrupt our world. Even one solitary, non-universal, truth, because of the interrelated nature of our universe, would quickly become the basis for all reality. Everything else we experience as "as good as truth" because of its high likelihood would suddenly be thrust into a category of uncertainty where we once perceived order. All of a sudden we have coping mechanisms like, "Well at least I 'know' that one thing". As we are want to do as a species this truth, no matter how insignificant would take on an almost divine property within society, more significance would be given to it than it deserved and what if we never found another absolute truth? That singular truth would become known as the act of or as a god.

So this is mostly rambling but its an interesting thought experiment.
