I dislike having to break up fights at work. I especialy dislike breaking up fights in my classroom. I do not hesitate to do it. I regard it as the right and necessary thing. I signed up to do it, among other tasks. I did it just now. Damn it.

No one was seriously injured and the aggressor went right to his room to cool off. It went off as well as such things can, really.

I accept the necessity. I do not like the necessity. I spend the next twenty minutes or so feeling something along the lines of , "See? This is why we can't have nice things!"

Damn it.

Oh well, the midazolam had almost no effect on me - was drowsy for about 10 minutes, now I'm full awake again. Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing :-) back to checking out the Alan Watts videos on Proteus' thread then I guess ...

why are my mom's friends such a pain in my @$$....i'm not happy with the idea of "friends by proxy" concept....if i wanted to be your friend i would be...being friends with someone i'm related to does not mean the same as being friends with me....

You say family is important to you yet instead of acting like a reasonable adult, you decide to break off contact with your daughter and granddaughter. Honestly, I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep this door open for you. You were the one to teach me how easy it is to shut out family when I was growing up. My turn now. You will no longer poison my life. But I just know you're going to blame me for it all.
