The Grateful Thread

Today I am thankful I have everything submitted for my mortgage refinance.

I should be going from a 6.875% to 3.25%.

I am grateful that sometimes staying up really late has a similar inhibition lowering effect to alcohol and it allows me to do things that I might not have done if it wasn't 2 am. Things that during the day I tell myself that I'm not good enough to do or that it just wouldn't work. For some reason at 2 am, even completely sober, I think "Well who cares? I'll do it anyway and it will be awesome!"

I am also grateful that most of those moments do not include anything too physically, emotionally, or financially dangerous. Just a little of all of those things.

Friends who make you laugh without even trying or realizing they've done so.

Today I am grateful to @Desolous for correcting my mistake in a post.

And I'm grateful to all 4 of our mods for their, quite thankless, vital job.



Also, I'm grateful to my friends and colleagues for tolerating the irritated me. Many people I know totally deserve beer for this.

And I am grateful for this thread. It's my place of growth from now on. Rant, yet gratefulness.

I'm grateful for the movie Frozen which, were it not for that film I probably would have just sat here stewing in my emotional turmoil.

I am grateful for the Disney channel on Pandora radio. Always picks me up.

I am grateful for my dentist :blush:

I am grateful for my love of tinkering with things and for my stubbornness. Sometimes both of those things lead to bad things, but sometimes it leads to me being able to fix stuff that I didn't think fixable.

Today I am grateful for my work environment. There is lots of laughter but everyone works hard, too. It is ... being alive. I am excited to go to work in the morning. I am grateful for my(primary) job.
