I think they'd be great skills to have. It always looks like it needs some serious route recon before hand else they might just throw themselves into open air with too far to drop. By the looks of it I'd be using puncture/slash resistant gloves, ankle/knee/wrist wraps, and wearing a helmet to train in it. I'm no fun...
