I also used to do this, make sure you have excellent health insurance and a great attorney if you end up getting a serious injury

I prefer belle-style proper parkour. Nowadays it mostly seems about looks.

Parkour to me is parkour. Its like being a modern day animal with some civility.

Great excercise is fun and awesome to watch. Id like to see more jedi parkour. :woohoo:

Yup, Belle is more about what parkour should be, which is the fast, efficient movement of an individual in the environment they are interacting with.

These extreme stunts and acrobatic movements are both what has brought the sport into the spotlight however, as well as to make it as unnecessarily dangerous as it currently is.

Parkour is about getting from point A to point B by the shortest and fastest route possible by running in an urban environment...

Free Running is about doing stunts and tricks in an urban environment...

Free Running is a competitive sport but Parkour is more an art because the point is about going from A to B rather than about doing it for a race...

That's where most of the confusion comes from, those two are similar but distinctly different in intention and nature.
