What has to come ? Will my heart grow numb ?
How will I save the world ? By using my mind like a gun
Seems a better weapon, 'cause everybody got heat
I know I carry mine, since the last time I got beat

I am pretty grateful for the services either public or private that are provided by the country I live in.

Hi Everyone
Thanks to a video from Proteus
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPPPFqsECz0
I have been inspired to create a gratitude log. But I don't want to do it alone. I'd like to spend some time each day sharing what we are grateful for .
I'll start
1. I am grateful for meditation
2. I am grateful for rest
3. I am grateful for friends
4, I am grateful I feel better
5. I am grateful for chicken soup

Winter Morning
JAMES CREWS
When I can no longer say thank you
for this new day and the waking into it,
for the cold scrape of the kitchen chair
and the ticking of the space heater glowing
orange as it warms the floor near my feet,
I know it is because I’ve been fooled again
by the selfish, unruly man who lives in me
and believes he deserves only safety
and comfort. But if I pause as I do now,
and watch the streetlights outside winking
off one by one like old men closing their
cloudy eyes, if I listen to my tired neighbors
slamming car doors hard against the morning
and see the steaming coffee in their mugs
kissing their chapped lips as they sip and
exhale each of their worries white into
the icy air around their faces—then I can
remember this one life is a gift each of us
was handed and told to open: Untie the bow
and tear off the paper, look insideand
be grateful for whatever you find
even if it is only the scent of a tangerine
that lingers on the fingers long after
you’ve finished eating it.

Réveillé ce matin avec du café et des biscuits aux pépites de chocolat au lit ; descendu dans le salon où Mikey (Akkarin) m'avait préparé un full English à l'occasion de mon anniversaire.
Je suis gâté...

I am grateful for translate so I can read as much as I can. Also I am always pretty grateful for when others have those moments that make them feel good, special and cared for.
Also I am grateful for kindness, we may not get the stories about it on the news often but it is out there!

I'm thankful/grateful for my music that I can afford, for my birds and service dog, being somewhat healthy (It could be better, but it could be worse!) and for finding the Temple. I'm thankful for my friends and my family. There's so much more, but we'd be here all day, LOL!!

The things I am grateful for today:
- The opportunity to learn and grow.
- To connect to like minded people from all over the world via phone, teleconference, email, text, and forum post
- Being of overall good health
- Having a job that I already telecommute for, so it wasn't much of a transition
- For the access to technology to allow things to move more easily for those I care about
