Because my client called and cancelled, I was able to take a lunch for the first time in a few months and check on my turtles at the city park. How neat is that?!

They did have a bad habit of swimming away from me every time they see me but today I came with food ammo.

I am grateful for a fresh start in my life in t-2 weeks.

I am grateful that, soon, I will cross the stage to get my diploma from the man that told me four times this past semester that I failed.

I am thankful for Zenchi, and his putting me in line and giving me a sense of perspective over and over again. I am all the better for it.

I am grateful for friends that have let me crash at their place for the past month to get my affairs sorted before the puddle jump.

I am grateful this place has been so serene of late. Calm water makes it easier to see the land on the horizon.

I am grateful for Arisaig, a brilliant friend who's had my back in so many "LIVE: IP Study Hall" sessions, and his devotion to making newcomers here feel welcome. He has a lot of patience in answering newcomer's questions (including my own) and I wish him all the very very best in the puddle jump. I look forward to an in-person meet up hopefully not too much later too.

Right now, I'm grateful for my shoes. After a long day of work my feet are aching and to think about walking out on hot concrete with my bare feet makes them especially more tingly! Thank you, shoes, for keeping my feet protected and tender.

Today, I am very grateful for this community, and the ease of access I have to it. It's here, whenever I want to meet with my friends. It may be digital, but you're there, living your Jedi lives in your own Jedi ways, and that makes me feel all warm inside like nothing else :)

I am grateful for my waterproof coat. It is very very very wet today, and I would be too, if I did not have one, or it was not in good condition. Thank you, coat.

Grateful for the constant challenge.

Grateful for seeing what I've risen above.

And grateful to see that my action has outstripped the words of others.

Grateful for Senan, who was as wonderful an Apprentice, Knight, Councillor, friend and brother as any could hope for. I was honoured to know you, honoured to teach you, honoured to call you my friend.

Thank you for all you taught me, for the hours of happiness and joy you brought me. For making me feel less alone, and for the million things too specific to share, which I shall keep with me.

May you rest in peace, brother, and may you remain close by those of us who remember you, always.

Per fraternitate consurgamus.

I, too, am glad to have had the Knight Senan in my life. I could not have asked for a better teaching master. He helped me get through some hard times in my life and in my apprenticeship. He will never be forgotten and will always be a staple in this Temple.

You are now one with the Force, we will meet again.

I am grateful for the Temple being here when I started my search for Jediism. Because of the Temple I’ve had the pleasure of meeting great people like Senan, Arcade, Alexandre, Rosalyn, Reliah, Br John and many others. I am grateful for the impacts each of these people have had on my life and the time I’ve been blessed to spend with them.

Whilst I have my issues with this place, I am grateful for its ability to connect me to so many people whom I would otherwise have never had the privilege of knowing.

I am very grateful for the gentle folks who stopped to help me push my car out of the left turn lane to the shoulder across the intersection when it crapped out on me tonight. They didn't have too and they did. Also, for the cop who stopped to make sure I was ok, I am, and even for the dude who felt it necessary to honk at me while I was pushing the car out of the way by myself at first(a little anger adds a lot of strength when you are pushing a big ole SUV).
