What did you want to be? was created by
Everyone had, and still has, hopes of their dream job. A career they always hoped they could get. It is a sad reality that many people don't grow up to be what they wanted. Tell me what you wanted to be and what you became, and if you had any small regrets that it didn't come true.

Growing up I never thought that far ahead...I always did whatever caught and held my attention at that particular point in time...

I don't regret anything that has happened in the past...it's made me who I am at this moment...

I would like to have/run my own fabrication/custom shop...but if it doesn't happen I'm not particularly fussed about it...what happens, happens....que cera, cera...

Dreams/goals are great motivators, but they must be realistic and obtainable or they can cause more suffering than joy....

Like most children, I changed my thinking constantly...

But, when pressed:

Mom: "Little jestor, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Me: "Happy."

Notice, little jestor only uses one "dot"... lol...

I didn't realize that I have to experience everything else too, in order to understand...

But, I'll tell you what...

I am usually happy, happy, happy (Duck Dynasty fans!) And its been a great time!!

Thanks to all who help me....;)

I wanted to be lots of things and I tried a bit them all, but the only thing that has stuck so far is cleaning floors. Strangely enough, its enjoyable in its own right, if not that glamorous. I still hope to finish my degree and be more than just a couch psychologist, however.

Cleaning floors...it's a zen like endeavor...so easy to focus only on that...sure it's not glamorous, but there's something so relaxing about it...

Oh I fell for that trap as a kid, it was a fast jet pilot. I read everything about it from since I could read, and I had no shortage of reading material. I found out early it was a no-go for medical reasons, but then they made Top Gun and it was OMG its too kewl to stop loving it. I learnt more from my self studies into that then I did in school!!!

I still remember a lot of it and even continue to stay informed now. I dont regret it in the slightest, but sure would have loved to go flying them

An illustrator... It's just so fun drawing... Maybe a writer as well. That way I could show my own idea of what creatures in my books look like... :-)

I always wanted to help people, and let my choices be heard loudly. Maybe a politician of a sort. But I've been at a technical school for welding for the past three years. I'm still in high school though so I'm still getting things together.

I wanted to be either an astronaut or a train driver. I'm neither, but then again I'm a Jedi now so I can't complain. :P
