Real Jedi of the future

What do you see the Jedi (that's us) becoming in the future?

Do you see the Jedi of today becoming a personal development church (or whatever)?

Or do you see us becoming more of an aid organization.

What about sending two Jedi to a conflict ridden area somewhere in the world to speek with the leaders inorder to negotiate a peaceful settlement?


These are just examples. Please share your thoughts.

well, I see us grow, and become a more popular religion, although we are now. and I see us not involving in Politics, you know why

I don't know when, but I wish those days come faster

I see the Jedi becoming more advanced beings, like my teacher and his students, and less focused on philosophical, moral, and religious study.

Ask this of a Christian 2000 years ago. What answer would they give?

There will be a multitude of people doing a multitude of things...to say we will be one thing is a hard one.

Some Christians do aid work...some do none at all...some do "despicable" things in the name of 'God' so yeah...time will tell...plus there's a few Jedi factions so who knows...

If it were.up to me, we most certainly would be involved in politics at all levels. It affects literally everything. Try and think of even one thing. Why not have it run by the older and wiser Jedi heads? Would you prefer it run by your inferiors?

I don't.

I'd rather just have Jedi run in positions of power regarding education. If we could effect what is taught in schools- we wouldn't need to worry too much about the government.

That's right. Get 'em while they're young. ^^

In all seriousness, Alethea has the right idea.

I wonder how the course of history will pervert the Jedi movement.

I like that idea Alethea, but I'm afraid that the seperation of church and state would limit any religious influence.

Especialy in todays PC world.

It wouldn't stop us influencing the values the schools have.

I've heard that physical education/gym is no longer a mandatory subject in some parts of the US.
