Yes RyuJin well said. I do believe that if they had any real power they would not be so open about themselves in the way that they are. They seem to allow their darkest secrets to unfold like a book. When they speak they do not sound confident. By all appearances they seem to be living out a fantasy but I never assume when I do not know. That is the best policy in my opinion. I am focusing my use of energy working and magic to heal. I want to create and not destroy. I believe that it is a waste of effort to use your abilities, or talents, whatever they may be, to hurt others. When I look at the philosophy of the Sith Academy, and then look at what my philosophy was before, I see that they are similar in essence, but they are both truly pointless. What is the purpose of domination? Conquest of that which already exists, to convert all of reality into your own image, it is a waste of time.

What happens when, theoretically, all reality is under your control? Everything would conform with everything else. Everything would be the same but you are at a dead end. Where do you go from there? If you have nothing left to conquer or destroy then your motives have been exhausted. You no longer have a purpose. Creation however, is limitless, and there is no end to creating. All things that are created in this dimension must decay however, but more is created in place of what has departed, and I believe that most life reincarnates. Those who live only for domination or destruction lead an empty life. By remembering that emptiness I am inspired to keep struggling against my own temptations to fall back into that old life of self destruction.

I'll probably be kicked for dragging this thread out of its cobwebs again, sorry ;)
But I came here from reading some of the last posts in the Mortose' thread and from there I took a look at the Sith Academy Site. While a lot of it sounds like role playing to me (I may be wrong) I find the whole site quite disturbing actually. The whole ideological belief system behind it and the "political" emphasis (New World Order, Empire) reminds me of certain periods in our history which I wouldn't really like to see gain the upper hand again. That is of course, if the whole academy is really meant seriously.....
Don't get me wrong here, I respect the right of everyone to chose his/her own spiritual path, be it light or dark. But reading the stuff of the SA just gave me kind of a bad feeling.
Does anyone actually really KNOW anything specific about this Academy? Why do they seem to hate all Jedi(ism) sites so much?

They're wack jobs....and that's all you need to know. Touching on another thread, just because Mortose was willing to go above and beyond to disgust the membership here does not at all make her/him pure dark, or a Sith at that. People seem to have wrong or conflicting opinions as to what Darkness is, and going out of one's way to gross everyone out is not necessarily a key ingredient.

Yeah, ok. But are they actually serious about all this? Does this Darth Imperius really believe in the authenticity of the "Multiverse" revelation he claims to have received from this "Dark Sith Lord"? And do they really mean this whole Empire thing in a political, or just a philosophical way??

I find it interesting that they quote Michael Aquino at one stage; I kind of doubt he'd appreciate it very much

EDIT: I don't really want to mix the two threads together but I rarely saw anyone express his views as radical as Mortose did.

No offense, but does it matter? I don't think even Imperious and Ravenous know half the time. They run a cult, if you're truly interested I suggest signing up and finding out first hand...

Their site doesn't even allow you to sign up - Not that I would, I'll admit honestly I find it a bit too scary. But they don't seem to have any kind of forum or anything and the only contact option is via skype, which I find kind of weird too. It's like they are trying to build up something more like a secret society than an academy?

Also, if I assume for one moment that the story Imperius recounts is true and this other "dark multiverse" really existed it would be logical for me to assume that this "dark, formless entity" which - according to this Darth Omega - destroyed the Sith there would be something like a massively large dark egregore which they created by focusing only on the Dark all the time. You know, like the Law of Attraction says: "What you attract, will come to you." So I would actually interpret his whole story in the way that the "Sith" in this other universe destroyed themselves. And still, he would want to create the same thing here ???

When doors like that are kept closed and guarded its a sure sign that they dont want you to see that theres nothing beyond them.
