Supposed Attacked Against Prince Harry
It got me thinking, What is the Prince had been killed??? What would the repercussions be. How would that effect the dimensions of this conflict????

I would say Harry's 'fairly safe' (as safe as anyone can be in a war zone

The news claiming that attacks on Camp Bastion are aimed at Harry are plainly silly in my opinion. There are 28,000 people on that camp and there is no way you can single out one person. Plus Harry being an on call pilot means he's located pretty much in the middle near the landing zone. The Taliban would have to be a bloody good shot to get him there.

You may wish to rethink that opinion.

When the fighting started they were actually pretty close to him because they made their attack in the 'aviation area'. However, as soon as the fighting started he was whisked off by his personal bodyguards to his safe-bunker, so he wasn't in any danger.Seraph Arel wrote: The news claiming that attacks on Camp Bastion are aimed at Harry are plainly silly in my opinion. I'm not sure whether I think that you should get personal bodyguards and a bunker because you're a Prince...I thought that the whole point of him going there was that he wants to be treated the same as any other soldier...
The official line is that the job he's doing doesn't put him in any danger. However, I find it interesting that Harry is allowed to go to Iraq but Prince William, as the future King, is not allowed to go anywhere remotely dangerous, which is why he became a search and rescue pilot - it's one of the few things he could do that would allow him to be active in the military without being deployed on combat missions. So although they say that Prince Harry isn't in any danger...well by letting him go somewhere that Prince William wouldn't be allowed to go, they're showing that that isn't quite true.

It seems the Talibans assault on Camp Bastion was a bit more severe than I previously thought.
