Is there somebody who believe that the soul resurrect. That is equivalency of midichlorien that borrow are body does that mean that is the same faculty .Because in star wars Qui-Qon jinn said that a , the Midichrolrien to sum it eee !?;) they borrow are body and probably have a few life with poeple. It's like the Resurrection i observe.

The one that posses with a devices is responsible for others . Being at large is brought too my attention . An armor is the key to unarm devices .

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most people here believe in reincarnation - which is pretty much the same thing as resurrection?

And by the way, aren't midichlorens fictional?

It depends on your interpretation/definition of reincarnation. Jediism proposes that after death we live on through the Force, as all we are is physical manifestations of the Force, so our bodies are nothing but temporary vehicles of the Force. Everyone would explain or word it differently, but in essence that is it. However, to me that isn't reincarnation, because it isn't being born again as such, more just a continuation. Akin to shedding a skin perhaps. But it wouldn't surprise me at all if there were others who do see it as being reincarnation.

Resurrection is not the same as reincarnation - resurrection as I understand it is coming back to life after death, usually in the same form. But there are indeed close parallels and similarities.

And yes, midichlorians are fictional. But I don't think Patrick is saying that they exist, he just seems to be discussing the similarities between the fictional concept of midichlorians moving around and living in different bodies to the concept of resurrection. I can see where he is coming from here, but I would see them more like parasitic bodies - head lice moving from one person to another, for instance. You wouldn't say that head lice are resurrected - they just 'move house' sometimes. But saying that, I don't remember Qui-Gon saying that midichlorians hop from person to person. They seemed to me to be kind of bound to one person - almost a part of you. Quite happy to admit that I could well be wrong about that though!

Problem with midichlorians is that Lucas had to make them life forms. subatomic particles would have been so much more awesome.

Could sub-atomic particles be a life form of a type? Everything in the universe has sub-atomic particles. Maybe there is a type that is essential to the formation of living life forms as opposed to rock. Quantum Physics or mechanics or whatever may have a part in the formulation of life vs. other stuff. Either way, is it possible that a mutant amount of these life form sub-atomic particles could grant "Force" abilities?

Did you know that if you're in a certian meditave state pointed out in books like the power of Now, that you can focus on an imprint of the light of a light bulb, that has attached itself to your retina and acctuallly gain an image of an atom?

Not denying what you said, but I think it works both ways. People who are force sensitive can gain pretty powerfull experiences of things like atoms...

I've never seen possession, but it would be interesting if a soul could resurrect within another body. I personally do not believe that souls are individuals, but rather just parts of the same Force being expressed individually. Those individual expressive souls then perhaps constitute the growing of the Force itself.

If you did believe in individual separate souls, then an interesting question might be how do you consider the soul to be attached to a particular physical body? Other spiritualists can believe in things like a silver cord. I'd have to lean on every particle having a fundamental property of connection to the Force, which then leads me back to being all connected as expressions of the same Force.

Is the soul in the body or is the body in the soul?
