Where were you during the Great Glitch of approx 15:00 UTC 8/23/2012?

Time is relative....

It felt like forever …

I just kept refreshing, and wondering if somewhere in the UK, V was also refreshing her screen....

Like looking at the stars, and wondering if anyone else was...

Then instead of patrolling the site, I actually read some email :sick:...

Then had an, :sick:, actual conve-:sick:-rsation with real live :sick: people....

I really didn't know what to say...

I kept trying to communicate, but they couldn't decipher the tapping of my fingers...

I was so scared!

And usually around that time totjo is never really busy...

'Dude, don't you know how these things work?' Tom asked, 'Whenever you're gonna do some site maintenance and say 'The site's not busy', it'll jinx everything and EVERYONE will come around, wantin' to chat or read blogs or something!'

Honestly.. For how long was it down? It was really a matter of me telling the thing to update, and not seeing i had to force it to keep my config files... went off to do something else, came back and realised php hadn't finished updating... No idea how long it was. It just didn't feel that long from my end. I mean, it seemed so minor I didn't even check the site lol

I still like my explanation of what caused it. Everyone already knows that the time-out monster in the chat room will knock people out. Maybe that's what was holding up the config files!?!?!?!
