A part of this knighthood aspirant's response to the Five Questions :
There may be a bit more, or not, but this is worth attention well beyond that.

I have watched this before and must wholeheartedly agree
We focus on the bad but often forget just how far we have come
We can always do better, but that is a process and one in which we are slowly achieving
One thing my friend (who got me into economics) told me about economics was this:
Consider your debit card... all your wealth (besides capital) is accessible by that card. That trust and that system is a fantastic example of how we have evolved
You know you can walk anywhere and receive your wealth. How wonderful is that?
We truly have evolved socially, and (despite the loud minority - the squeaky wheel that gets the oil (thank you to whoever reminded me of that
)) we really can start to make a true and lasting difference
Apologies for the political nature of this:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/9607889/Vince-Cable-Europe-could-be-plunged-into-war-if-Euro-collapses.html
But I think it is a load of rubbish! I recognise the human capacity to do harm and feel hate, but I am an optimist. I feel like we really can overcome our more 'animal impulses'
That is a key part of being a Jedi to me. I think we are stronger together than we are apart (Gabriel I know you'll love me for saying that but it is true
)
(FYI, if you want to respond to the Vince Cable thing then please either start a new topic or PM me, I don't want to distract this wonderful thread (though I admit I have only actually seen a few
- But lets be honest... he's a Lib Dem...
)

Personally, I love my silly little job --
