I should have the XP or be a high enough level by now to get Force abilities or something!
Hahahhahaha

I think that a certain level of discussion is always good and I realize that we won’t always see eye to eye, but I would have to agree that we all need to show respect toward each other and remember that we are Jedi here. This is not just a free for all forum for role players but a place of learning and the sharing or ideas, principles and beliefs.

It happens, none of us are immune to it, I have been corrected by new members when I have misspoke...
It is part of the game...
Sometimes, we dont realize how heated we are till it is brought to point...
No worries, we havent banned anyone for it in months...
 :silly:  :silly:

Thanks wes. It's weird, but from where I'm sitting the people here in this site and the people in the house that I live in very convineintly take 2, 3, mabey 4 differen't angles about things that are simply to further their so called "cause." It doesn't really matter whether you speak wonderous verses from holy scriptures, if your mind is incorrect there is no merit to what you are saying.

What came first, The chicken or the egg?
what came first UK Educational system, or the Dungeons & Dragons Role playing game?

I appologise if this kind of question is embarrising to anyone but it's quite clearly relevant.

I don’t know about there being “no merit”… I feel that sometimes there are lessons to be taken from the most bizarre places and that nothing should be just discarded or taken for granted. But I do understand what you are trying to say.

You didn't answer my question(S!)... what came first?

I think you are reading too much into it to be honest. Maybe it comes across as a battle zone to you but to me I'm just debating
If you look at the posts we make there aren't insults or death threats hurled at each other. That is what I would call a forum battle zone! lol
I am well aware that I come across as strong minded and I indeed am. I know what I believe on a topic and if there's a debate going on I tend to join in and talk with others but I am never angry when I post
I never mean any ill intent towards them. Tomorrow I will be just as much friends with them as I am now
If we're talking you can't help but expect that there will be differences in views and exchanges of ideas. But that is discussion and not war
If you are ever concerned with the behaviour of members on a forum post/thread then you can publicly just ask them the question plainly or you can PM them or you could raise the concern with an appropriate authority
Text is a poor conveyor of speech as is often repeated here. That is why sometimes it is essential to ask direct questions just to clarify and gain some context

I feel that we need to spend more time asking the right question and learning from the answers we are given… not just trying to prove our point or side. That’s all!

And the point I'M trying to maake is that respecting others views (and not being concerned doesn't can't be impinged from outside. In both ways, in fact it ALL ways, it is our responsibily... no-one can do it for us. Once we are less concerned about rou own views they are challenged alot less.
All my views are challenged so I guess Im not there yet!
