when it comes to friends, it is not the quantity of friends you have, it is the quality of your friendship...you must remember that you cannot and should not force yourself or your values upon others. they must be allowed to learn from their mistakes...
outside of totjo i have no friends although i do have people i am friendly with...most are into drugs and/or alcohol and i'm into neither...as has been mentioned, when i'm feeling "alone" i simply find someplace in nature that is private and i listen to the world...after a while you come to realize that we are all connected no matter how disconnected we may feel...
the military is a good way to make a change and earn a living, now i'm not saying run off and join unless you decide that is what you want...but it is a good option if only for a single enlistment term...it provides training, income, and ways to grow...plus when you get discharged they can help you get a job lined up before your released...another option would be to apply for financial aid and go to college(or community college)...college is a good place to meet like minded people as well....

Warning: Spoiler!
There is passion, yet there is peace
Through passion I gain strength and knowledge
Through strength and knowledge I gain victory
Through victory I gain peace and harmony
Through peace and harmony my chains are broken
There is no death, there is the force and it shall free me
