96% of the universe was created by
This morning I just so happened to chech what was on the science channel and Prophets of Science Fiction was on. This episode was about Star Wars (season 1 epi. 2 if u can find it). In the very beginning they talk about when the first movie came out how scientists thought that the idea of the Force being silly. At the time they believed that atoms were what made up the universe. But now they know that only 4% of the univers is atoms. The other 96% is someting that they aren't sure what exactly what it is. However, this invisible stuff is all around us, in us and holds the universe together. The Force. A scientist actually admitted that the Force is real!!

Just wanted to share that info with everyone :)

Yea I saw this same thing on the weekend on the TV. It seems to be somewhat uniform in its placement apparently..... so the room you are sitting in right now, look around, and everything you see and know is only 4% of what is actually in the room with you (maybe).

If I pull something I am exerting 'a force' on it... That does not mean that I am using 'The Force' (not in the terms you mean at least)

Similarly the theory behind only being able to view 95% of the universe, is because under our current understanding there is not enough matter for galaxies to remain together (they are moving so fast they should fall apart). They aren't and our best explanation so far is that there might be extra matter (dark matter) which exerts enough of a gravitational pull to keep them together

The other 70% is dark energy which is a theory regarding the rate of expansion of the universe

None of these theories have even been shown to be accurate or testable so far so they might be completely incorrect

They at least are not in a suitable position to be called or equate to people's ideas of The Force :)

We simply don't know enough yet to come to that conclusion
