What do you/did you want to be when you grow up? was created by
not much to say really, below I've listed some things you could mention
1. What did you want to be/ what do you want to be?
2. What was hard/ what do you think will be hard?
3. why did you want that job/ why do you want that job?
etc.
so for example
I've always wanted a job in either philosophy or law, I like philosophy mainly because I am always interested in all the unanswerable questions of our existence, from how we became what we are, to is God real, and half the time I'm always arguing with myself about everything in front of me (I'll put an example in a paragraph below)
and I also like law just because I hate the suffering and deaths that happen in our world, and it sort of ties in with philosophy, I like to know what people can and can't do
the jobs I would go for would be a solicitor or a philosopher, the difficult things of these include:
1. I've looked over all the things I'd have to achieve and do before even thinking about solicitor, like law school, degrees, and A levels, at first I wanted to be a barrister but I would need a LOT more money and ability to do that, because a barrister has to go to an inn of court in London, for four years and much more
2. Philosophy I haven't really looked at qualifications for, so sorry if this is too brief for you xD
In this spoiler is the ideas I was having when I was walking home yesterday
So yeah that's really it, feel free to comment

Warning: Spoiler!
So on the way of walking home I thought about the future, and decided about aliens and other beings like that in contact with humans, then I thought, something like that would need a whole new way of life, and then an alphabet came into my mind, and as I thought about it, I considered why do I think that O makes an O sound?
And so for some reason my only actual answer to this is "it just is" I had all these ideas like well when you look at it it sort of has an O -ness to it, because it's circular, then I considered why couldn't ¤ replace an O? it's practically an O just with little points coming off it, then all I could come up to with that was it's just not an O, it's completely different?
so now I feel like, well I don't know how to phrase this well, but I just feel like I've been brainwashed by human ideas into believing each letter means what it does, but anyway that's really it, you can leave any of your ideas on this in the descrption

My parents ask me that when I was a a child...
I always said, whatever job they had...
Mostly, when pressed, I said I wanted to be happy....
I wanted to marry a blonde headed, blue-eyed woman,, and have blonde-headed, blue eyed kids...
But, if that didnt happen...
Just be happy...lol...
Oh, Ive succeeded, mostly...

When I was little it changed often; a princess, a vampire (Anne Rice style, tyvm), a teacher... I changed my mind a lot. Those were in my very early years.
Now, all I want to be is the best at whatever I'm doing. And by best I mean the best I can be, not the worlds best.
Happy is a good one, too, but I'm beginning to realize what that means for me and it doesn't seem as important as other things do for me right now.
If a profession is what you're looking for answer wise, I will say I am very interested in holistic healing, yoga, and similar things.
Good topic

Well, that was one of those questions, I don´t know why I always took very seriously and wouldn´t like to answer because I thought I couldn´t possibly know what was ahead of me and what those jobs really were about.
One day, I decided I would answer that I wanted to be a millionaire, and that is what I ansewered from there on every time I was asked.
Now I am in Law school and I still don't know what I want to be. Well something within the area of the Law, maybe work for the prosecution, maybe even become a judge, or just a lawyer. It is still too early to know even wich specialty I like most.

May sound boring, but I hope to be a controller eventually. Tho it will take some years of experience to reach such an position.

Like most boys, I wanted to be an astronaut. That then turned into the guy who wears the Mickey Mouse costume at Disney World (weird, right? lol). But ever since 8th grade, I've always wanted to be a music teacher. Hasn't happened...yet. But really, i'm at a point now where I would love to be either a music teacher or a voice over artist (still saving up for more professional gear as i've only ever heard my voice over crappy recording devices).
Right now i'm just trying to get by, so who knows where i'll actually end up. Wherever the Force guides me, I guess, lol.

When I was really young I wanted to be a Ghostbuster and to have a pet Marshmallow man. Then I went through a couple of realistic/plausible phases; Fighter pilot, Police man, Fire man, Artist, Martial Arts instructor, Professional football player (Proper football not the American kind).
Getting my Martial Arts Instructors License is a possibility but it's having the time to do it.
I mainly do Art for fun, but fighter pilot was always my dream job!
