Being math minded this video reminds me of the many "bible codes" out there, like Harold Camping's deduction of the world ending May 21st, err, now October 21st... Essentially it gets my cynicism all riled up. If you attend enough math classes, professors show you neat little math "tricks" like this one and other more interesting ones along the line.
So personally I suppose I just find it irksome to use "maths," a culturally feared topic here in the U.S. (at least among the people I know and grew up with), to promote any particular agenda beside mathematically related topics. I'll get off my horse now; I'm getting kind of saddle sore.
