I understand that this is not fully based on Star Wars movies. But, is it ok for people who accept Jediism to get tattoos? I know that's something Sith do.

I'm Jedi and I have lots of tattoos. So do many others. Body mods have nothing to do with Jediism (or Sithism for that matter - you may be confusing movie Sith like Darth Maul with real-life practitioners). Of course, if you get something Jedi-related done then feel free to share a picture in the Shottle Bop section of this site! :)

TOTJO has no opinion on that issue except that it is a matter of personal choice. So yes it is OK.

Thank you everybody, especially for the super fast replies to my question. And as one asked, yes, part of it is Jedi related :).

Thanks again!

Lol, I'm being serious, yet light-hearted.....

In a word, yes, go get a tattoo....

What made me laugh was, if you know it is something a Sith would do, why would you not know what a Jedi would do.....

I too have many tattoos..... I agree with Mark, we want to see pics if Jedi related.....

On walk-about...

Jedi ain't Saints....

Its your body - do what you will with it

You aint hurting others so what harm will it do ?

And if you wanna use SW as an example - plenty of Jedi had bodily enhancements of various types ;)

Ive wanted scarification for sometime but cant for health reasons (or tatts etc)

The top of it is the symbol for Virgo, some tribal, and the JK at the bottom stands for, and is one of the symbols for, well duh lol, Jedi Knight.

I'm resurrecting this old thread because I'm curious if any Jedi here has tattoos they are willing to post images of.

I'm very close to getting one on my right arm and I wanted to see what others had (not to copy, just to feel cool with, haha.)

BTW, I was thinking of getting "Guardian" in Greek down my right arm.

Two meanings of course: 1, Jedi are guardians of peace and justice and promote truth.
2, Greek, to me, is the language of the wisdom seekers. The language of philosophy. And Jedi seek for wisdom and are philosophers themselves. At least, that's what I try to be on my serious days... ;)

So, yeah, those are my reasons. (Don't bash on them too hard if you don't like it, haha. Or I just might flip! )

I had my wife draw the symbols down my right arm with a marker to see how it looked. I LIKE it! The wife is kind of neutral to it, but I'm confident I can persuade her to see my point of view, haha.

ETA -- this would be my FIRST tattoo.

Come on man.... You know what I'd say (DO IT!!)....

Bawk, bawk, bawwka-bawk....

lol, if you like it, you should do it obviously...

I wish we could see what your wife drew... (hint)...

We just had a tat shop open up close to work, so I texted a buddy about the artist... Its the wifes turn, we may go check him out for her next set of ink...

She wants a Goth Tinkerbell sitting in a jestor's jester's hat...

I have a 1/2 Goth, 1/2 normal Tink tattoo on my chest for her... A Babs Bunny for my middle daughter, Ti-double "G"-er for my son, and Tweety for my oldest daughter...

I love tattoos, they are just so expensive...

On walk-about...

Sith ain't Evil...
Jedi ain't Saints....
