Jediism History on Youtube

Well as far as I read at other sites Senatoko (I think she is called) amongst others have been making comments concerning CoJ. And I understood no negative comments to be made concerning us. And yes the attacks here were very sharp in nature, but we were the only ones to stop talking up our sleves and come up straight. And also I have witnessed no back drop in the membership, we have survived worse situations. And honestly could you not come up straight instead of using these hidden mysterious warnings, it reminds me too much of Yoda. And if anyone including yourself doesn´t like it here you don`t have to stay.

Well there's two opinions and they cancel each other out.

Personally, and I've said this before, I'm not a great Jedi or even a very good Jedi. I'm fantastic with Zen and legal issues though. My job is to keep the site running, do all the necessary legal work and support the really great Jedi here so they can do their work unimpeded while I stay out of their way.

I'm just tickled pink with what and who I am so don't hold your breath waiting on any changes.

I admit that Randi's comments confused me so I went back and watched the video again. Nowhere in it does she say anything about being fed up with us or the CoJ. She merely states the facts - which churches were founded and when. Setanaoko (Aletheia) mentions the CoJ a lot so as to address the misconception that many people have that they are the first and only Church of Jediism and that they speak for the whole of the Jedi Community (with the \"hoods policy\" being one example of this). She DID mention that TOTJO is \"considered the first legal international Church\" [of Jediism].

I see nothing in the video to suggest being upset with anyone - she is merely setting the record straight. If Setanaoko has any personal views on the discussions between us and the CoJ, they're not portrayed within the video.

Randi, As a friend and peer of Alethea/Setanaoko, I can say you are far off from your original statement saying that this video was attacking TOTJO. It was not, it was only sharing facts about the various churches within the Jedi community and clearing up mis-information that CoJ was not willing to correct.

So on the issue of the video, I'm afraid that statement to Br.john having a lot to learn is in error.

Unless you have additional information on this subject to share with others, then might I suggest that you not continue on this course of action.

Now, you seem to be of the impression I don't like you. This is inaccurate. I don't really care enough about you to like or dislike you, but I do care about TOTJO and her members. You are a person, nothing more, nothing less. Unfortunately for you, though, your title on here and the actions you have begun to take against the Church of Jediism Limited Company, you're moving into position where you may have to represent us all in the public eye.

Translation: The further you travel this road, the more people are going to hold you to a much higher standard. If you don't fulfill even three-quarters of that standard, you might find yourself and this church in the same predicament as CoJ Ltd.

Are you really prepared for that? This isn't about me, this isn't about you, this is about TOTJO and how you are working to prove to the world we are more worthy of the title \"Jedi Order\", let alone \"JEDI Church\", than CoJ Ltd.

Thank you Jedi Oxford. This I understand and it does make sense. It's like salt on French fries. A little goes a long way and one shake too many ruins them.

During the past few days my instinct has been telling me to shut up about you know who, and what you are telling me makes me trust that premonition all the more.

I feel sorry for those who dont realise or cant see that 'the truth' about CoJ is so difficult for them - all TOTJO is removing the fog CoJ seem to have until now enjoyed, enjoyed the secrecy it had.

10 books in their training programme - only 3 of which ave been published, 2 of which you pay for to name but a few issues.

Sorry, but its impossible to 'please' everyone - everyone is free to pick n choose their alliance and even not to alliance at all.

TOTJO has never sought to be the 'leader' in Jediism and as far as inm aware - it inst planning too in the future either.

History is always just a point of view. This vidoe is just one of many points of view - and whilst some may think the info on youtube about TOTJO and CoJ is damaging to these two groups - I personally think youtube is damaging to jediism as a whole.

Here is what I understand Jedi Oxford to be saying. I'm thinking in terms of the many years I spent in sales and marketing. I was highly successful in this and won many awards. There is a point in making a sale where the person is talked into it and one more word can talk them out of it. The expert knows when to say \"Should I put this on your account or would cash be better?\" and then shut up. There many be a minute of silence. There might be five minutes of silence. It might get worse than that and during that silence the salesman must resist the urge to say anything because the first person to speak loses.

It gets harder and harder for the customer to say no as time goes on.

I know this theory is correct so much of the time that when I taught training classes on selling this was one of the most important things I made sure that everyone in the class understood.

I, we, TOTJO have stated out case. Now it's time to shut up, let it sink in and let what's his name try and squirm out of it when he's asked the hard questions.

Even if I'm wrong about Jedi Oxford I am right about this.

I hope that for now the only thing that's heard from TOTJO's members concerning those idiots is a thunderous silence.

It's not at though they won't be getting a lump of coal in their stocking for Christmas.
