What is this anger

That rages inside?

That ebbs and flows

Like some monsterous tide

What is this sadness

That descends on me?

This cloud of darkness

That no-one can see

What are these visions

On a constant reel?

That flash through my mind

Are they nightmares or real?

What is this euphoria

That takes over my mind?

Like some twisted metal

That i cannot unwind

Who is this person

That you dont recognise?

This tortured soul

So much turmoil inside

Its me !....I'm in here

And these demons i'll beat

And be a PROUD veteran

Back on Civvy Street....

Hope you like this one I most certainly do

The ancient masters slept without dreams and woke up without worries. Their food was plain. Their breath came from deep inside them. They didn't cling to life, weren't anxious about death. They emerged without desire and reentered without resistance. They came easily; they went easily. They didn't forget where they were from; they didn’t ask where they were going. They took everything as it came, gladly, and walked into death without fear. They accepted life as a gift, and they handed it back gratefully.

Here's something to ponder over... the word Emptiness. I will give my own thoughts on this later . I will say this tho' it a word I find very important in my own individual training .

Emptiness

Is something I think we think about when we're board. Its why we have things to occupy our time i.e. work or hobbies.

to be absent of, nothing, vacant, lack, indifferent. thus is life.

As an artist of music and paper I make something from nothing all the time. I practice in an empty room with an amp in it. I make sound from empty space. A picture from an empty paper. as an artist I'm compelled to face my own emptiness what do I do?

I feel nothing towards nothing. If "A" is nothing then what do I have to feel about it? You can't feel for what isn't there. so I feel nothing. Indifferent to absent.

but if life is nothing, then we should always make it something. ;P

Thank you for your comments Aeros. From my own point of view. The word Emptiness is very significant in my training not only within Jediism but my study of Japanese arts .

Emptiness is absolute clarity of mind. A disturbed pool cannot reflect the image of the moon .
If I can upload the kanji , there is a saying Munen Mushin which roughly translated means No Thought No Mind .
