Greetings each
I was looking through my little note book ,There are one or two passages that I would like to share with you, Some from Martial arts Masters and some of my own.
MORE OR LESS
One more or less learns something and more or less does it correctly. With time, practice and with a relaxed attitude to ones progress, it becomes more, rather than less. You will never perfect the arts, just do more rather than less.
TRUE TEST
The true test of a warriors worth, is in their kind, tender, gentle nature. The strongest person is the one that can show compassion in others. The signs of weakness and cowardice are the inability to show these virtues . The reliance or displays of physical violence strength and arousing fear in others is not acceptable.
PROGRESS
Progress can only be made in the study of technique by remaining calm and practicing in harmony with others. Real strength come from a straight but flexible mind and body tempered by hard practice.
No thaught,no mind, is essential for absorbing harmony of techniques.
DOUBT
If ones mind becomes clouded by uncertainty, one must find courage to plough on forward. If one gathers and generates enough force one will bust through to the other side.
when in doubt ask yourself five times. Typically the answer is within yourself
GIVE
In this life we should seek to gain through knowledge and nor for profit.Only take what you need and if you take to much, give it back.A calculating person only seeks to gain for profit, and sees death as a loss. Therefore the calculating person will ultimately loose as death is inevitable.
If you give all of yourself, you will receive ten fold. ( I know this to be True).
A SIMPLE BOW
A bow shows mutual respect, trust and acceptance of another and should be sincere not mechanical.
LION FISH
A lion fish may move with grace and beauty, but its sting is very painful
I hope you will enjoy these as I do
The Force guide you all
Yours in the spirit of Budo
